Earth To The Dandy Warhols


One of the most important bands that are a part of My Formative Years would be that of The Dandy Warhols. Every two (usually three) years since 1997, I get excited by the prospect of a new Dandys record on the horizon. And now with the band starting to taunt their fans with tidbits about their sixth long player, Earth To The Dandy Warhols, the 13 year old inside of me gets excited again.

The band posted the news yesterday about Earth, due 5/5/08 on their own Beat The World imprint, in the form of a sparkling teaser trailer of the band fiddling around the mixing board to the tune of two songs: though I have no idea what the first song is, the second one is "Talk Radio," one of the five new tunes they've been playing live recently, alongside "Wasp In A Lotus," (Now) You Love Me," and what is either called "Trucker" or "Last Of The Outlaw Truckers." I guess we shall see soon enough.
