Maybe you've heard her on that Grey's Anatomy show, but I think 2009 will be the year for Anya Marina. I mean she got Britt Daniel, that guy from Spoon, and Brian Karscig from Louis XIV to help produce her new album, Slow & Steady Seduction, Phase II, which Chop Shop/Atlantic will release December 9th. For the record, Daniel made up a bunch of loops and drums beats and mailed them out west to Marina, who then added guitars and her sweet sweet vocals to make a pretty killer record.
