Voodoo Records calls the Movie Star Junkies "raw exotic sailor trash". the description sounds like pidgin English, like the spam viagra haiku I get in my in-box but it's also true, no matter how rough their garage rock affectation gets, there is also a thread of Scott Joplin's lost sea shantys.
