The Minnesota quartet Tapes 'n Tapesare back with their second album, Walk It Off, which XL will bring in to this world on April 8. The band unleashed the first mile of said walk with "Hang Them All," an upbeat, mid-tempo number that has the signature moves of Walk producer Dave Fridmann all over and starts off with a guitar lick that's reminiscent of RHCP (?). I like it more now than when I heard it last year at The Paradise here in town and at Lollapalooza. Can't wait to hear the rest of the record, especially that "George Michael" song.
